JENNY: Mare, the Collage

So, I'm on the final pass of Mare and on the final pass of Mare's collage, which is not the collage for The Unfortunate Miss Fortunes, just the collage for my 1/3 of it. Krissie and Eileen have wonderful things in their parts of the book that aren't in my collage, although their sisters are in here because their sisters are in my part of the book, if that makes sense. But here's Mare's collage. Not quite finished, but almost. Like The Unfortunate Miss Fortunes. I really love this book. All of it, not just Mare.

And now, back to work. I can't believe this is almost done.

Gorgeous collage, but what the hell is that enormous corn thing off to the right?

Oh! Is it some fabulous druid phallus-of-the-harvest or something?

Or is it lawn furniture?

You are a strange woman, Crusie.

Jenny Crusie, you are intimidating as all hell. A Woman of Many Talents. Does Bob know about this?

I can't wait to read this book.

WOW! Jenny that's incredible. Love Mare's weeping blue flowers. So many details I'll have to study on this. Its like a whole story in itself, isn't it? Can wait for the book!

Looking at your collage, and then looking at mine makes me feel horribly inadequate. All hail the collage queen! :)

I'm really looking forward to this book! It sounds like so much fun.

Jenny, that is quite a collage. It takes a lot of looking but one can see many aspects. I only found one blue butterfly but then I can't see.

That must have taken hours. It is massive. Good work

Wow! I love it. You are indeed multi-talented. All I have is a few photgraphs cut out of magazines and glue sticked to a piece of cardboard.
My past President of our chapter is going to do a "make a collage Crusie style" for those members not going to National this year. I'll send them over to take a look at this one.
Many thanks for sharing.

Extraordinary! It's my favorite of the collages you've posted so far.

I really want to try this. Jenny, if you have any books on collage that you'd recommend, would you please post them for us? Or if you've blogged about it, let me know? I don't even know where to start. Thanks!

Thanks, OH, I'll look. I'm an addicted lurker on all these blogs -- can you be a CB if you only lurk?!

Anyway, I'll go scour Argh, Inc. and see if there are more posts than the one I've seen. Have a great weekend!

Jenny, you've outdone yourself this time. Truly fantastic collage!
Brooke asked the question about the corn on the cob- Is it a massive corn on the cob dildo, or maybe a novelty femadon for an elephant??
I know there is a water tower that looks like a corn on the cob (I saw it when I googled water tower, trying to get an idea of the pink one in WTT) does it follow a theme? Come on spill the beans, pretty please??!!
